Bulletin Message – July 15, 2018

Brothers and Sisters of St. Rita’s Parish,

I want to thank you all for the wonderful farewell that was given to our dear brother and friend, Fr. Tony. He has been very happy to see so many demonstrations of affection. He has left very happy and full of hope that we will remain strong in our faith and committed to our Parish of St. Rita.

To all the people who participated in the planning and realization of this event, I express my gratitude for your support and cooperation. Although we are still sad about the departure of Fr. Tony, we are happy to know that he has not gone far, and will continue to live in Chicago, which means that we will surely see him driving, impatiently, through the streets of our neighborhood and maybe even visiting us sometime, as this was his home for 12 years.

With Fr. Tony’s departure, I have been named Parochial Administrator of St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church. This is a very large responsibility that I cannot fulfill without your support and prayers. I ask that we walk together as we have been doing, like a family of faith, committed to Charity, Peace and Justice.

Have a wonderful week!
Fr. Homero Sanchez, OSA Parochial Administrator
