Consider Planned Giving – Week October 17-23

(Psalm 116:12)
How shall I make a return to the Lord for all the good He has done me?

National Estate Planning Awareness Week is October 18-24, 2021 – Do you have an estate plan? If not, now is the perfect time to contact an estate planning professional to begin the process. If you already have a plan in place, it’s a good time to review it and make any needed modifications.

Please prayerfully consider remembering our parish when you update your estate plans. These gifts help us to build a solid foundation for the Catholic formation of future generations.

For more information, please contact Rosa Schwab at 773-434-9600 Ext. 224, rschwab@archchicago.org. For a free step-by-step guide to reviewing your estate plan, please contact Krystina M. Campbell, Planned Giving Officer, Archdiocese of Chicago at 312-534-5404 or kcampbell@archchicago.org.

Please Consider a Gift to the Church that Pays you Back – A Charitable Gift Annuity is a great way to make a gift to the Church and receive fixed payments for life – benefitting you today and our parish in the future. You can schedule payments according to your financial needs, and enjoy immediate and future tax benefits, including a federal income tax deduction for a portion of your gift, if you itemize. Also, a portion of each annuity payment will be tax-free (through life expectancy). The funds remaining after your lifetime will support our parish or school – as designated by you.

For more information, please contact Rosa Schwab at 773-434-9600 Ext. 224, rschwab@archchicago.org or contact Krystina M. Campbell, Planned Giving Officer, Archdiocese of Chicago at 312-534-5404 or kcampbell@archchicago.org – Visit giving.archchicago.org/cga for more information.

Consider Planned Giving – Week October 3-9

(Psalm 116:12)
How shall I make a return to the Lord for all the good He has done me?

Please consider making a qualified charitable distribution (“QCD”) gift from your individual retirement account to St. Rita of Cascia Parish. A QCD gift (a.k.a. IRA charitable rollover) allows individuals age 70½ or older to authorize their IRA administrator to make a direct transfer of funds from their IRA to qualified charities, tax-free. A QCD does not generate taxable income, which may lower your annual income level, and the amount you transfer may count towards your required minimum distribution.

If you would like more information on making a QCD gift, please contact Rosa Schwab at 773-434-9600 Ext. 224, rschwab@archchicago.org or contact Krystina M. Campbell, Planned Giving Officer, Archdiocese of Chicago at 312-534-5404 or kcampbell@archchicago.org.
